Wrote: I had noticed that while Strindberg's handwritten letter to his
wife, Harriet Bosse in the background of the stamp is dated 1905, the
tiny cancel on the stamped envelope is dated 19-8 06, but it is not a designer
error. Most likely, the actual envelope was not available, so a later one, hand
addressed by Strindberg, was used, Perhaps the designer and the Swedish post
did not expect anyone to look that closely, but I did.
Sweden
# 1505 also received an award for best something, but I can't find my
references or my unfinished article, "Award Winning Stamps on
Stamps", which are probably in a whole file drawer of hundreds of
philatelic newspaper and magazine tear outs and photocopies. I'll pass it
on if I ever find it.

100 Years of C.Z. Slania – Joit Issue with Poland
Inside #???? (In Margin): Sweden #2374O
On
October 22, 2021, both Poland and Sweden will have a joint issue with
similar S/S to note 100 Years of C.Z. Slania, and
both will have SoS engraved
by Slania in the margins.
On
the Poland S/S is an unissued stamp privately created by
Slania with a reduced engraving of the Battle
of Grunwald, which he submitted as his graduate work
for his diploma from the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow, Poland. Note the tiny
inscriptions below the design.
On
the Sweden S/S is a portion of the magnificent sheet Slania
created in 2000 as his 1000 stamp engraving, Sweden #2374.
