the reproduced stamps. All of the SOS are really artist’s representations
and not accurately copied. In my database I identify each as follows:
Senegal
709: Senegal # 158, 151-- modified: artist's representations with
changed perfs; on # 158, the figures at right are reversed and moved to left,
mosque moved toward center; both stamps elongated and bi-color instead of
monotone.
Note
correction of # 158 for # 154—color of SOS is brown, not red.
